Prof. Richa Bhatia is currently Professor of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. She is Centre Superintendent and In-Charge Examination. She is Chairperson AICTE-Smart India Hackathon activities. She has 21 years of teaching and research experience. She has done her Ph.D. on High Bit Rate Optical Systems. Prof. Bhatia has published over 65 research papers in various renowned international journals and conferences.

Her research interests include Wireless Communications, Optical Systems and Networks, Radio over Fiber, Free-Space Optical Communications, Elastic Optical Networks, Digital Communication, Signal and Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Internet of Things and its applications. Currently 6 PhD research scholars are working under her guidance.

She is Reviewer for reputed International Journals like IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transport Systems, IEEE Communications Magazine, International Journal of Communication Systems, Wiley, International Journal of Microwave and Wireless Technologies, Wiley.

She has delivered various Invited lectures in IEEE International Conferences and Workshops. She has been associated with many professional organizations as technical program committee member, member board of studies and reviewer. She is a Life Member of ISTE and Senior Member IEEE.
