Dr. Kalesh Nath Chatterjee

Bio-sketch: Prof. (Dr.) Kalesh Nath Chatterjee is Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Design at NSUT, Delhi. Prior to this, she was associated with The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences, Bhiwani as Professor & Head in the department of Fashion & Apparel Engineering of TIT&S, Bhiwani. He was the founder and former Director of National Institute of Fashion Technology, Kolkata as well as Senior Co-ordinator in the Department of Textile Design & Development, NIFT (Delhi). He has more than 49 years of academic, industrial and research experience in the field of Textile and Fashion Design and Technology. He has published and presented more than 70 research publications in national and international peer reviewed journals and conferences and contributed to 6 book chapters on Pilling, Sewing Threads, Sustainable Handloom textiles and garment manufacturing. He has  completed many government funded projects as well as been involved in Skill related activities of Govt. of India.
